Welcome to the Bush

at the heart of Brown Edge

It's more than a pub!

at The Heart of the Village

Situated on the edge of the Staffordshire Moorlands, The Holly Bush Inn has for centuries been a place where people took refreshment on their journeys to Leek and Newcastle.  It is situated on what was the only road between the Potteries and Leek. All travellers between the two places would have to pass this former coaching inn.

Who knows who has used this establishment in the distant past? What is exciting is the thought of who will use us in the future!

Perhaps weary travellers, or friendly locals just wanting to meet up with their friends, newcomers to the village to be welcomed and sad departures for those we won’t see again. All part of a community rich in friendship.

Why don’t you call on and see what we have done by investing in our futures? We can guarantee somewhere to warm your heart as well as your hands and feet!

It's the Experience

Happy Atmosphere

Of course a pub needs to be warm (we have two log burners),  clean, with well presented fresh drinks.  But it should be much more than that, it has to be a place where people can meet, have a good conversation and enjoy themselves.

A great space to sit out on a warm Day and to watch your children playing on the Parish Playing Fields.
